She also served the Charger school community as Division Chair for PE, Health and Drivers Education from 2014 until 2020. Michelle Augustyniak returned to Stagg for the 2021-2022 school year as Associate Principal for Instruction after spending one year as the Director of Guidance at Sandburg High School. Eric Olsen earned his bachelor's degree in Education from University of Wisconsin at Whitewater and a Master's in School Administration from Governors State University.ĭr. ![]() Olsen received the Illinois Principals Association South Cook Award of Excellence, 2016 Friendship Award recipient of the Mosque Foundation, 2017 Golden Apple Leadership Award Nominee and 2019 Arab American Family Services Spirit of Empowerment Award Recipient. Our ability to support our students' exploration of their talents and skills in our school community will allow students to discover their individual passions and develop personal goals to achieve success both in high school and after they graduate.” In 2014, Mr. Olsen believes, “The goals of the Stagg Learning Community should focus on the self-actualization of each student who walks the halls of our building. During his career, he has had the opportunity to teach students from kindergarten to high school in a number of capacities. Olsen served as an assistant principal, dean of students, and language arts teacher. During the 2006-2007 school year, he was named Principal of Amos Alonzo Stagg High School and has served in this capacity since. Eric Olsen began his career in District 230 in 2005 as Associate Principal of Instruction at Stagg High School.
